2004 APR 19 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Centura Health announced Jay Picerno has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Previously, Picerno was executive vice president and chief financial officer at Centura, the largest healthcare system in Colorado.
In his new role, Picerno provides system-wide leadership and a single point of decision-making on operational matters. Picerno will oversee hospital and division operations across the Centura organization as well as a number of support functions such as information technology, process improvement, and business management.
With Picerno's appointment as COO, Centura is conducting a national search for a chief financial officer.
A not-for-profit, faith-based organization, Centura Health operates 12 hospitals, 8 senior living residences, and home care and hospice services along the Front Range of Colorado.
